As you can see, my daughter S is quite the aspiring fashion designer. Last week she found a $25 Target gift card she got for her birthday awhile back. She LOVES Target and begged me to take her shopping. Before we left, I told her just because she had $25, it didn’t mean that she needed to spend it all at once. I also told her to be smart with her money and not waste it on junk. We spent about 20 minutes perusing the toy aisles. S was being very careful checking prices and deciding on what she wanted. Of course her little sister, N, wanted everything she saw, but that’s a whole other post. Anyway, S finally decides on the Harumika Designer Fashion Show and Go Set. I think it was a good choice. She loves drawing, reading and writing stories. So now we can add fashion designing to the list. She must get the design sense from her pops, because he’s not a bad graphic designer himself.

Looks like you may have found an hei to the family business. Good work, S.

You need Santa to bring her Designers World. It’s a tv plug in video game that lets the girls design outfits for fashion shows in all the posh cities of the world. My 12 year old got it 3 years ago and still plays it all the time.

Very nice! It’s pretty cool to see how children take after their parents passions and hobbies. I’m very curious to see what my son will get from me, other than the temper he has started displaying.

I would have loved this toy as a kid. In fact, I’d still love it now. Good to nurture that creative spirit!
